Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of the terms

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the use of ReasonRun: the application, the website reasonrun.com and associated services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, booking a run or using the Platform in any way, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Who provides the service

The Platform is operated by Tomás Schuenemann, CUIT 20-41923263-8, with legal address at 25 de Mayo 1253, Tandil, Province of Buenos Aires ("ReasonRun", "we"). You can contact us at tomasschuenemann@reasonrun.com.

3. What ReasonRun is

ReasonRun organizes group runs among people who do not know each other. You book a spot and the information is revealed to you in stages: the meeting point, the route and the destination bar or café are released at different moments before and during the event. At the end, the group shares a wrap-up at a food-and-drink venue. ReasonRun facilitates and coordinates these meetups; it is not a sports club, a coach or an event organizer with professional supervision on public roads.

4. Requirements to use the Platform

To use ReasonRun you must:

• Be over 18 years of age. The Platform includes in-person meetups between strangers and wrap-ups at bars or cafés where alcohol may be consumed; that is why the service is exclusively for people of legal age.
• Have legal capacity to enter into contracts.
• Register truthful data and keep it up to date.
• Be in physical condition to perform low/medium-intensity aerobic activity (see Clause 8).

5. Account and registration

You are responsible for the truthfulness of your data, the security of your account and all activity carried out from it. Do not share your credentials. A person may not have more than one active account except with express authorization. We may reject, suspend or cancel accounts that breach these Terms (see Clause 16).

6. Community rules

ReasonRun is based on respect among strangers. By participating you agree to:

• Treat the other participants and venue staff with respect.
• Not harass, discriminate against, threaten or assault anyone, in the app or in person.
• Not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or to contact other participants for non-consented purposes.
• Follow safety instructions and the rules of the destination venue.

Breach may result in the immediate suspension of the account, with no right to a refund, and in any applicable legal action.

7. Nature of the activity and assumption of risk

This clause is essential: read it carefully.

Running is a physical activity that involves risks (injuries, falls, health problems). In addition, ReasonRun involves in-person meetups with people you do not know, on public roads. By participating, you acknowledge and accept that:

• You participate at your own account and risk and declare that you are in a fit state of health to do so. We recommend consulting a doctor before starting any physical activity.
• ReasonRun coordinates the meetup and suggests a route, but does not supervise the run as a coach would, nor does it guarantee medical or emergency assistance during the course.
• ReasonRun does not control the conduct of the other participants or of third parties, and is not responsible for damages, injuries, losses or conflicts that may arise from the interaction between users or with third parties during or after the event.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings and your safety during the course and the wrap-up.

None of the foregoing excludes the liabilities that Argentine law does not allow to be limited.

8. Prices and payments

Runs have a per-event price that is disclosed before you confirm the booking. Payments are processed through MercadoPago; ReasonRun does not store your card details. Partner venues (bars and cafés) contract a separate subscription plan, governed by its own conditions.

9. Cancellations and refunds

• Full refund: if you cancel up to 24 hours before the run's start time, we refund the amount paid.
• After that period: cancellation gives no right to a refund; depending on the case we may offer a credit for a future run.
• If the run is cancelled for reasons on our side (for example, the minimum group is not reached, or the venue falls through), we refund the amount.
• Right of withdrawal (distance purchases): in accordance with consumer protection regulations, you may withdraw the purchase within 10 calendar days of making it, provided the service has not yet been rendered. To exercise it, write to us at tomasschuenemann@reasonrun.com.

10. Alcohol and responsible consumption

The wrap-up may take place at bars where alcohol is offered. ReasonRun does not serve drinks and is not responsible for consumption: the venue is a third party. Alcohol consumption is optional, reserved for people over 18, and it is each person's responsibility to do so responsibly.

11. Bars, cafés and partner venues

The destination venues are independent third parties. ReasonRun coordinates the group's arrival, but does not operate the venues nor is it liable for the quality, prices, service, permits or anything that happens inside them. The consumer relationship for whatever you consume at the venue is between you and the business.

12. User content

The Platform has a group chat and a ratings system. You are responsible for the content you post. You grant us a limited license to display that content within the service (for example, your messages to the group). We may moderate, filter or remove content that breaches these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

The ReasonRun brand, the logo, the texts, the design and the software are the property of ReasonRun or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without prior written authorization.

14. Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to keep the Platform available, but there may be interruptions, maintenance or changes. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features without this giving rise to any right to compensation, except as the law provides.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReasonRun will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or from participation in the runs, nor for acts of third parties (other users, venues, providers). This limitation does not apply to liabilities that Argentine law does not allow to be excluded.

16. Suspension and account termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of breaches of these Terms, conduct that endangers other users, or fraudulent use. You may terminate your account whenever you want from the Platform or by writing to us.

17. Indemnity

You agree to hold ReasonRun harmless against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or from your conduct during the runs or wrap-ups.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If there are significant changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by email. Subsequent use implies acceptance of the version in force.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Tandil, Province of Buenos Aires, without prejudice to the rights that consumer protection regulations grant in favor of the user.
